All our interventions are performed by our Radiologists, in conjunction with our technical staff, to ensure maximum safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Marina offers a range of interventional procedures including:
Joint injections (cortisone)
Biopsies and aspirations
Back pain injections (facet joint injections)
These procedures are undertaken using CT and ultrasound guidance. These techniques act as visual guides to assist in the undertaking of the procedure.

Preparation for interventions differs depending on the procedure you are receiving. Please bring any previous scans or reports relating to the region being scanned, if they were not undertaken at Marina.
